Dating App? So unconventional, right? Hinge, what is that? Well thats how it all began. Before Cody and Kailyn had their first date on May 26th 2021, they both would embark on this new journey to finding "the one." They would both meet on a new age dating app called Hinge. It's like Match.com, but more like one of those slide right kind of concepts. On Kailyn’s profile, she had a prompt that stated her greatest strength is knowing exactly what the best thing on the menu is without having to ask. Cody, being a foodie like Kailyn, would then make a move by responding to her prompt. Following their first conversation, on May 26th, Cody would come pick up Kailyn for their first date at Sushi Blues. They ended up hitting it off and talking for hours as if they were old friends catching up. They both knew that this was something special and continued to get to know one another. When July 4th rolled around, Cody asked Kailyn to spend the 4th with his friends and family. They both knew taking this step would determine what the future held for them. After a perfect July 4th weekend they fell in love with one another, which led to Cody getting down on one knee on April 9th 2022.
