Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Answer

Georgia law prohibits any outside alcohol being brought onto the Vecoma premises, including the parking lot. Please obey this law as we are legally responsible for our guests. Failure to abide by these rules will results in the loss of our security deposit.

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Please do not wear white.

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only.

Are children welcome?

We love the kids but our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home [under 18] so you can celebrate with us.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

This is the south. Unless there is inclement weather, expect lots sun and humidity. We do advise everyone to watch the weather closely.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Our goal is to have food options for everyone. However, if special accommodations must be made we will be as flexible as possible.

Sunday's Best (suits, dress shoes and dresses). No sneakers, jeans, etc.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! There will be limited alcoholic beverages provided during the reception. Afterwards, there will be a full cash bar available.

What COVID protocols will the wedding venue have in place?

Answer

Here are some things Vecoma is doing (Part 1): *Vecoma has most ceremonies outside in the open air which is healthier. *Vecoma has a front patio and back deck where guests can dine outside if they prefer. 1) Our staff has always followed mandated operating procedures for health and safety as required by the State of Georgia. This includes but is not limited to the use of gloves, proper hand-washing techniques, following food safety protocols under ServSafe guidelines, and performing proper disinfecting procedures within our kitchen and event spaces. 2) Our kitchen staff has always been led by experienced and certified food safety workers. 3) It has always been our policy that a staff member cannot report to work if they feel ill or are presenting any symptoms.

What COVID protocols will the wedding venue have in place?

Here are some things Vecoma is doing (Part 2): 4) We have intensified cleaning procedures to ensure our building is more deeply disinfected to prevent germs from spreading and to ensure your safety. 5) Our staff will be personally serving guests from behind our buffets (which are equipped with sneeze-guards) to limit contact with food, serving utensils, etc. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for guests that may want to use it.
