See you in Siam!

Amanda and Conner used to work together at the flagship Microsoft store in Bellevue Washington. Conner was a contractor and Amanda had just been brought in as a full-time product advisor (this is key later in the story). Amanda and Priscilla were chatting in the middle of the store and a question was brought up...which of the co-workers did you think was the cutest? Now naturally Amanda said Conner and that he's so cute that she'd lick his face. Well if you know Priscilla, she's not a shy person. So she strutted over to Conner immediately and said, "I know someone that wants to lick your face" with a grin on her face. Conner, being the smarty pants he is, announced, "Well...is it Amanda?!" A month or two had past before making it official when Conner was notified that his contract would be ending and Microsoft would not be renewing. It's at this point in the story that I must mention we had been secretly dating for 3 months and only a very small select group of people knew of this relationship. On his final day, he walked into the break room and announced to the keyholder making the upcoming schedule, "My girlfriend needs the weekend off so she can come meet my family!" The keyholder was taken aback and asked who his girlfriend was. You can imagine the surprise on not only her face, but the surrounding employees as well when Conner announced it was Amanda. After making his announcement, Conner drove to Amanda's apartment in Kirkland and knocked on her door. He told Amanda of what he did on his last day and she decided, what the heck! It's a day off, let's make it an adventure. So their first date as an outed couple and of course, the first post on Facebook was to the aquarium. And the rest is history!
