Stephanie and Coby were both attending NYU Wagner when they met. Coby met Stephanie in October 2013 at the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Later that academic year Stephanie met Coby because she has no recollection of ever meeting him. Stephanie and Coby were introduced again in March 2014 at their school's talent show where they were both performing. They automatically hit it off and Stephanie gave Coby her business card. Coby never reached out to her, but she found him on facebook and asked him out on a date. They had their first date on March 29, 2014 at Mama Juana, a Dominican restaurant in Washington Heights. They have been together ever since. Stephanie and Coby live with their fur baby Whitney in Brooklyn, NY. They enjoy eating, traveling, and having deep conversations about social justice. They are excited about celebrating their wedding day with you in Punta Cana!

In May 2018, Stephanie and Coby went on a trip to Portugal. This was the first time for Coby visiting the country but a return for Stephanie, who studied abroad in Lisbon 8 years prior. On May 30th, they had plans to visit the infamous castles of Sintra however their plans did not pan out. Instead they decided to take a trip to sunny Cascais where they enjoyed a seaside lunch and a stroll along the oceanfront. From there they traveled to Cabo Da Roca, the most western point of Europe, located on wildflower covered cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. When Stephanie was there 8 years ago, she knew that this would be the perfect spot to be proposed to. She had mentioned several times to Coby during their relationship, but did not mention on their trip. As they walked along the cliffs taking in the stunning views they took many pictures and found a quiet spot along the edge of the cliffs to listen to the waves crash into the rocks below. Coby had a ukulele with him which Stephanie had noticed but due to Coby's lack of nervousness she didn't think anything about it. At that moment he took out the ukulele saying he had actually had prepared a song for Stephanie for this moment. He started singing, which brought an immediate smile to Stephanie's face. During the song it was as if they were the only two, surrounded by the beauty of Cabo Da Roca. Eventually, the song resolves on a repeated question, where Coby asks Stephanie to marry him. And as you all know with tears and a smile Sosa said Yesss!
