Kenosha Pass

Kenosha Pass

CO

Located on Highway 285 between Bailey and Jefferson (on the way to the venue), Kenosha Pass is a high elevation mountain pass featuring miles of aspen trees. In the fall, their green leaves turn into a wonderful gold and yellow extravaganza. Kenosha Pass is abundant with parking places. You can simply get out of the car and walk close to aspens. Keep in mind that it can get pretty crowded. Every spot in Kenosha Pass is ideal for a fall foliage experience; just go there and enjoy the scattered fall colors!

Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre

Morrison, CO

One of the most unique concert venues in Colorado, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, is worth checking out even during the day time. Sitting on the steps of Red Rocks before the sun rises and watching the sunrise over Denver is a great way to start your morning. With free parking and walking paths available, there are beautiful views of the rocks, the concert venue, and Denver in the distance. There are plenty of hiking trails around the area as well.

Boreas Pass

Boreas Pass

CO

Boreas Pass is one of the top fall foliage destinations near Breckenridge, with plenty of lush golden aspens radiating color. Located south of town, Boreas Pass can be easily accessed via Boreas Pass Road or County Road 10, which goes directly over the dirt road pass. Once you get to the summit, you can park and take a 2.5-mile loop trail to enjoy the views of the Blue River Valley and Breckenridge Ski Resort. This rugged mountain pass takes you from Jefferson (near the venue) over to Breckenridge.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

Rocky Mountain National Park is the most grandiose and authentic Colorado experience. Drive on the highest continuous paved highway in North America at 12,100' above sea level, check out alpine lakes with short hikes, and see the Elk population and wildlife. Timed entry and purchased tickets are required well beforehand so plan accordingly.
