Meet the bride and groom, and our dear friends who make up the wedding party.

Stephanie Coachman

Bride

Stephanie was born in Pontiac, Michigan in 1999. She is the daughter of Winfield and Asalyn Coachman and the younger sister to Demetrius. Stephanie has always had a flair for style and design, starting a backpack design business as early as elementary school. In her teens she cultivated deep interests in both music and science & technology, and decided to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in robotics electrical engineering. During this time, Stephanie also began to pursue her passion for writing and singing jazz music, and became a vocalist for the Penn Jazz Ensemble. In 2022, Stephanie's career as an engineering program manager took her to San Francisco, CA, where she soon met Andrew. It was Stephanie’s absolute pleasure to discover that Andrew’s ambition and intellect are matched by his fun-loving and kind spirit, thus she was quickly swept off her feet. After eight months of dating, Andrew took Stephanie on a vacation to Turks & Caicos Islands and asked for her hand in marriage. The pair will be married on April 5th, 2025.

Andrew Florial

Groom

Andrew was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1995. He is the son of Sainteanna Florial and the second oldest amongst his four siblings: Freddy, Anika, Shawn, and Roland. Andrew grew up in South Florida and quickly developed an early passion for computers and business. Always destined for Silicon Valley, he graduated college with degrees in both computer science and applied mathematics and began his career as a software engineer in San Francisco, CA. In 2022, Andrew became the co-founder and CEO of Outing. (We highly recommend all guests utilize Outing to enjoy activities in the Bay Area during the wedding weekend) Andrew met Stephanie in April of 2023 and the pair quickly fell into a whirlwind romance, bonding over their shared interests in technology, music, and ambition for constant self-improvement. Outside of growing his company Outing, Andrew enjoys playing tennis, exploring San Francisco scenery, and singing duets with Stephanie (when no one else is around!) Andrew proposed to Stephanie on January 6th, 2024 in Turks & Caicos Islands, and the pair will be married on April 5th, 2025.

Martha Gakunju

Maid of Honor

Stephanie met Martha during a fire drill in their freshman dorm at Penn and quickly grew to become best friends. Over the past 7 years the pair have been inseparable, sharing countless adventures together and seeing each other through many highs and lows. By God's grace they will soon embark on another great milestone--the wedding of Stephanie and Andrew, with Martha as Maid of Honor.

Atokena Abe

Stephanie was introduced to Atokena through another bridesmaid, Tisé! They met shortly after Stephanie moved to San Francisco in 2022, and Atokena fast became one of Stephanie's closest friends via many brunch, tennis, and dinner dates. Atokena starting spending time with the now-engaged couple very soon after they began dating, and she was one of the first to spot how happy Andrew made Stephanie.

Tisé Ben-Eka

Tisé and Stephanie also met in college at Penn, and became very close girlfriends after discovering that they both lived in San Francisco post-grad. With both ladies working in big-tech, they bonded instantly over their experiences acclimating to working life in the Bay Area. Tisé is a social butterfly and helped introduce Stephanie to the SF social scene. She actually invited Stephanie to the party where Andrew first spotted her!

Arabang Dingalo

Bridesmaid

Arabang and Stephanie are classmates from Penn as well. 'Ara' as she is affectionately called, and Stephanie sparked their love and laughter-filled sisterhood during the pandemic. Though now living on different coasts, (NYC and SF) Ara and Stephanie have only gotten closer since graduation, and continue to plot how to live in the same city one day again!

Maria Apiyo Odongo

Bridesmaid

Maria was Stephanie's first friend in the engineering department at Penn. They were in the same orientation group before the first day of freshman classes! Both in and out of class they quickly bonded (Maria is also an amazing dancer and host!) Together, they endured countless hours of grueling coding homework and math assignments--ultimately becoming life-long friends in the process.
