Our 1920's Art Deco Wedding

FAQs

You have questions and we have answers, hopefully.
Question

What's your COVID-19 plan?

Answer

We've checked in with our vendors and so far, so good. We're on track to have our wedding in December. However, operating standards will match CDC guidelines at that time. When we're closer to the day of the event, we'll announce what the guidelines are for the Vinoy.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We're pretty fancy people so we're holding a black-tie affair. We'd love to see you in your best formal attire for our Art Deco themed wedding. Bridesmaids are wearing all black evening gowns and groomsmen are wearing tuxedos. No tuxedo t-shirts, please.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

They sure are. We're family oriented people and we know babysitters aren't cheap. So, bring the kiddos. We'll have a fun kids menu and some cool activities for them to partake in during our reception. Plus, we'll have a few professional babysitters there to help parents keep an eye out.

Question

How do I alert the kitchen about my food allergy?

Answer

Mindy has some allergies so we're sensitive to that. If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, please let us know when responding to our invite. We'll ensure all food is prepared in a manner we all can safely enjoy. Chris has food sensitivities, too. More so, he just can't handle mushrooms. (They gross).

Question

Should we avoid certain topics of conversation?

Answer

Why, yes you should! We've planned a wonderful weekend for our family and close friends. We have people on different sides of the COVID-19 viewpoint and in different political parties. Out of respect for our wedding weekend and the effort we've put into the planning, we're asking that our guests respectfully avoid the conversation topics of politics and the viewpoints on how the COVID-19 pandemic has been handled. We're respectful people and we're asking our guests to respect this request.
