Question

How can I reserve and pay for my room at the Château? Comment puis-je réserver une chambre au Château?

Answer

There are 19 rooms available in the Château and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please indicate in the RSVP if you want to reserve a room in the Château (Chateau package). Simply make a bank transfer to us to secure your room as the venue is asking us to handle all payments. Il y a 19 chambres au Château donc si vous souhaitez loger au Château et opter pour le Forfait Château, répondez au plus vite dans la section RSVP et nous vous indiquerons la marche à suivre pour le payment.

Can I book a room in the Château only for one night? Est-ce que je peux réserver une seule nuit au Château?

Answer

Unfortunately, this will not be an option as it is a package for 3 nights. Malheureusement, cette option n'est pas possible. Le Forfait Château inclut les 3 nuits .

Question

Do you have to attend every day of the wedding event? Est-ce que je dois venir les trois jours?

Answer

No you can come for as much or as little as you would like! We understand everyone will have to take time off and make arrangements, so no pressure either way. That said, you might get FOMO if you don't ;) Vous pouvez venir pour les trois jours ou seulement pour le jour de mariage. C'est comme vous le souhaitez!

Are children invited? Est-ce que les enfants sont conviés?

Answer

Yes- children are most welcome so please let us know in the RSVP if they will be joining you, but sadly we won't have a babysitting service. Bien sûr, les enfants sont les bienvenus, dites-le nous dans la section RSVP et nous vous contacterons pour plus de détails. Malheureusement, il n'y aura pas de service babysitting au Château.

What's the dress code? Qu'est-ce qu'on doit porter?

Answer

Day 1 is casual for dinner. Day 2 is wedding day so cocktail/smart casual. Day 3 will require swimwear for the pool party and casual outfit for the BBQ. Jour 1: Tenue décontractée pour le repas du soir. Jour 2: tenue pour le mariage Jour 3: maillot de bains et tenue décontractée pour le barbecue

What's the weather like in Ginestas?

Answer

It will be summer time so expect warm and sunny days! Hard to predict but it should be around 17 (in the mornings) to 28 (in the afternoon) degrees celsius.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor? Est-ce que le mariage sera à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception are due to take place in the vineyards surrounding the chateau and in the gardens. The dinner is set for the outdoor courtyard. Dancefloor will be in the barn. La cérémonie et le vin d'honneur ainsi que le repas auront lieu à l'extérieur. Le fête aura lieu dans la grange.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

You don't have to, but it's entirely your call. Depending on what you plan to do before/after the wedding stay, it might make sense. There is the option to arrange taxis in advance (let us know if you need help with this). Depending when and where you arrive we may be able to arrange some car pooling.
