Cloey and Ryan’s story began in April 2021 with a blind date in Baldwin Park, Florida, set up by their best friends who knew they would be a perfect match. The evening didn’t start exactly as planned. Ryan forgot to make a dinner reservation at the very popular restaurant they were supposed to meet at, so the two ended up at a small, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant instead. What could have been a setback quickly became the best kind of surprise. Conversation flowed effortlessly, they laughed nonstop, and from the very beginning, everything just felt easy. The night continued at Leu Gardens for a movie on the lawn, where Ryan brought a UF Gators blanket just to make Cloey laugh, knowing she was a UCF fan. It was a simple, thoughtful moment that perfectly captured the ease and humor that has defined their relationship ever since. That first date became so special to them that they return every year to recreate it! Over the next year, their connection grew through adventurous dates and meaningful time together, officially becoming a couple on July 4th, 2022 under the fireworks in Margate City, New Jersey. Not long after, they took on long distance while Cloey traveled for work, staying close through countless FaceTime dates and even FaceTime “sleepovers.” They have since celebrated their love from Punta Cana for their first anniversary to New Smyrna Beach for their second, and a dream trip across Europe for their third. In September 2025, in Lake Como at Villa Del Balbianello, Ryan proposed in the most breathtaking and unforgettable way. Surrounded by the beauty of the lake and charm of Italy, it was a deeply meaningful moment that felt like a perfect reflection of their journey together, romantic, intentional, and full of love. From that very first date to today, Cloey and Ryan have continued to fall more in love with each passing day. Through every laugh, every mile of distance, and every adventure, they have built a love rooted in friendship and joy. What started as a simple blind date has grown into a lifelong partnership, and they feel incredibly lucky to have found each other. They are best friends in every sense of the word, and they can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people they love most!
