Our love story begins on a silly dating app you may have heard of...Tinder! We were both working at jobs where we didn't meet a lot of new people, so like any modern, single adult, we turned to the "joys" of internet dating. Somewhere between algorithms and mild skepticism, we both swiped right… and somehow, the internet got one right. We had our first date at BJ's Brewhouse where we spent over two and half hours talking, laughing, and sharing common interests. Eric walked me to my car, and I almost invited him to get ice-cream so I could spend more time with him, but I didn't want to come across as what we call, a "stage-5 clinger," so we called it a night. He mentioned later that he thought about asking me out to dessert too; we just wanted more time together! Fast-forward more than six years, and here we are—still choosing each other, still finding new ways to make life more fun. We bought our first home in June, so we have been spending time adding touches to make it our own. We love spending time with our "doghter" Tonks, going to the movies or having movie marathons, drafting people and betting on cast members from reality TV shows like Survivor and The Challenge, attending concerts, comparing favorite music and movie lists (and as a result, introducing each other to new music and movies), playing card and board games, cooking together, trying different restaurants, and traveling. Whether we’re out exploring or just enjoying a lazy Sunday, we’re happiest when we’re together!
