If you are traveling from out of town, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are so appreciative of your willingness to literally go the distance for us.

Hotel

Fairmont Olympic Hotel

411 University Street
Seattle, WA 98101
 1-800-821-8106

Since this is where both our ceremony and reception will be held, it would certainly make for the most convenient location to stay! The Fairmont has graciously offered our guests a discounted rate available anytime that week, January 1st -7th. You can make reservations by clicking the button below or by calling the phone number listed and referencing the Cleven ~ Hemphill Wedding Room Block.

House Or Rental

Airbnb/Vrbo

Anywhere
Seattle, WA 98101
 1 855 424-7262

Airbnb & Vrbo offer fun alternative accommodations - from lofts near the Space Needle to houseboats on Lake Union. We would recommend staying in the downtown area, but if you'd like to venture further during the weekend, there are plenty of other options like Treehouse Point in Issaquah (30 min from Seattle) or The Little Owl Cabin at Mt. Rainier (2.5 hours from Seattle)

Train

Link Light Rail

If you are coming from SeaTac, follow the signs for the Light Rail station, and take the train going north toward University of Washington. You will get off at the University Street Station. The Fairmont Olympic hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the exit.

Travel Note

Seattle Ferry

For our friends and family catching the boat from Bainbridge, you know the drill. We hope that you are able to catch the 2:10 at the latest. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the terminal.

Travel Note

Parking

We have covered the cost for self-parking in the hotel's garage. You can validate your ticket with the Fairmont. The entrance to the Olympic Garage is on the corner of Fifth & Seneca.

Travel Note

Seattle Recs

There are tons of things to do in the city, so you likely do not need our advice -but we will give it to you anyway. For food, we love the gnocchi at Tulio, risotto at Il Bistro, soup dumplings at Din Tai Fung, mac & cheese at RN74, and pulled pork sliders at Trace. For desserts, there's crème brulee at Fog Room, dole whip floats at Rachel’s Ginger Beer, s’mores molten cake at Hot Cakes, cookie dough at Sugar & Spoon, and honey toast at Hard Wok Cafe. If you're in town early, Wed. Jan 1st will be the last day to view JDRF's gingerbread houses at the Sheraton Hotel; Thurs. Jan 2nd is a free day at the Seattle Art Museum; Fri. Jan 3rd & Sat. the 4th both have free walking tours at various times throughout the day; and Sat at 10am there's a free 90 min tour of the Paramount Theatre- along with countless other tours & sites you could choose to see. Click the link below for 104 more options.
