The city of Love... Paris! Although the festivities are outside of the city center of Paris, we highly recommend those that have never been or have been before to discover all the "must-sees" Paris offers. Notre-Dame, The Lourve, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, walking along the Seine River, and Montmartre are just a few suggestions. If museums are not your thing, then indulging in French cuisine and wine is always an experience. Please let us know if you need any help in planning!
One of the best things to discover in Europe during Christmas is the Markets. Throughout Europe, during the winter months, Christmas Markets pop up where you can find mouth-watering food, hot wine, local artists, live music, and just an all-around great time. Some of the most famous Christmas Markets are in Germany, Austria, Belgium, and in cities such as Strasbourg and London.
London is one of the most convenient major European cities to get to from Paris. By taking a train that goes from the center of both cities you can get to either London or Paris for a little more than 2 hours. London is an amazing city that should be on everyone's list so why not make a pit stop!?
Normandy, France is an important location for both Americans and the French. An easy 3.5-hour drive and you can visit the beaches where D-Day occurred. It's a moving and intense experience that is well worth considering. Additionally, the region of Normandy offers many unique discoveries as well that we can happily recommend!
The town where our wedding is taking place has a lot of history to enjoy. Famous for horse breeding and racing along with the breathtaking Château de Chantilly. This was an important castle for the French Monarchy dating back to the 14th century, We recommend checking it out while in Chantilly for the weekend
