This is where we got engaged! The Sierra Nevada Brewery & Taproom are one of our favorites - and our families' favorites - to visit. The food at the taproom restaurant is amazing, the self guided tour is wonderful, and there are so many spots to visit on their beautiful property - from their tasting rooms and distribution centers, to their outdoor bocce ball courts, live music stage and gardens, to their meadows trail with river access. Blue Ridge Parkway
Take a hike or drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, also known as "America's Favorite Drive." Late October is often the optimal time to witness the most gorgeous fall leaf colors in America! Wicked Weed Funkatorium
Some of the best made, more unique beers in Asheville, NC. We won't make a trip to Asheville without a stop at the Funkatorium. You can't miss it! Located in the South Slope of Asheville, the Funkatorium is the East Coast’s first sour beer dedicated taproom. Now open with a newly expanded outdoor Biergarten! Their motto is: "Put Some South in Your Mouth" - need we say more? This is a wonderful counter service restaurant with notoriously long lines the later it gets in the morning... There are 3 locations in Asheville and they're all wonderful - trust us, we've tried them all! Biscuit Head is famous for delicious biscuits & an out of this world jelly and jam bar!
