Matron of Honor
Viktoria is Julie Ann’s sponsor and matron of honor. Julie Ann and Viktoria met on Thanksgiving Day in 2013. Viktoria had met Mark (her brother) at a church event and Mark invited her over for his family’s Thanksgiving. This where the story begins. After a fun filled holiday, Viktoria mentioned how she found herself in between places and was looking for a solution. Unbeknownst to Julie Ann, Viktoria moved in two days later and took over Julie Ann’s hat room. Although, it’s not recommended to get to know someone this way, it worked out in both their favors. Julie Ann and Viktoria have spent the last 9 (almost 10) years doing just about everything together. There have been so many adventures. They enjoy things such as goat yoga, birthday get aways and swimming (preferably as mermaids). Julie Ann and Viktoria make an awesome duo.
Matron of Honor
Victoria, or Vicki as her friends call her, met Julie Ann at a hockey game in Kyiv, Ukraine. They were both in Ukraine working at different international schools. They shared many interests together besides teaching and bonded through their Joi de vivre. Together they went on many global adventures, challenged the status quo, and laughed until they cried! Some of their best memories were of the most epic boat party ever. It was Julie Ann's 30th birthday. Over 100 ex-pat and international staff came. By the end of the evening, only a few friends had gone swimming in the river! Then, Julie Ann gracefully fell down some stairs into some very surprised sailors. In all, it brought many people together and created memories to last a lifetime. Vikki and Julie Ann are passionate, determined, funny, and intelligent. They often translated for everyone Vikki using her Bulgarian and Julie Ann her Russian. They talk every day and are two peas in a pod. Vikki calls Julie Ann her honorary Canadian and she can't wait to come to stand by her side on her wedding day as the Matron of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin Klatt is a lifelong friend of Julie Ann and bridesmaid. Julie Ann and Caitlin met 31 years ago at St. Ignatius Orthodox Church in the same preschool Sunday class. They were 4 years old. They hit it off right away. After church, they’d go home together, play all day, having many sleepovers. They had a blast riding Big Wheels going as fast as they could down Julie’s street pretending to be Wild Women! They would also spend time riding adult trikes all around downtown Franklin. Beanie Babies and American Girl dolls were other favorite pastimes. One day when they got older, Caitlin decided her cat Skittles stunk, so she put perfume all over her! Julie and Caitlin shortly after realized that might make the cat sick. So they decided to give her a bath in the sink and used Caitlin’s sister’s hairdryer. Chaos!! They never went to the same school, but they took family trips to the beach and Opryland Hotel. They saw lots of movies and were teased mercilessly by Julie’s brothers over the years. They supported each other in school plays and other activities. Today they go out to dinner since they are both Celiacs, talk a lot and laugh a lot. Caitlin dearly loves Julie. She’s fun and easy to get along with. Julie is a good listener and a forever friend.

It was 2009, at TN Tech University in Jere Witson Hall during a pre-recruitment event for Delta Gamma Sorority. That was the day Virginia, or Jinny as her friends call her, met Julie Ann. Julie Ann had recently returned from studying abroad in Spain, where she incidentally almost died. Jinny, a responsible, newer sister was expertly going through the recruitment exercise, when she was paired with, a rebel, who makes her own rules, Julie Ann. The rest is history! Jinny and Julie Ann had many adventures, their own language, and a proclivity for getting into trouble and then miraculously out of it. Jinny, the original show-fur (chauffer) of Mighty Whitey (Julie Ann's '96 White Caprice Classic, RIP) Fondly remembers driving Julie Ann to the ER when she broke her arm playing soccer. Ironically, it was the only sport where you aren't allowed to use your arms. Did that stop Jinny and Julie Ann? Oh, no! They still went to Wheeling in the Country. They both went headfirst into a waist-high mud pile on a four-wheeler, Julie Ann held Jinny's beer with her broken arm. So whether it's Forrest Gumping through life, making minute rice in 55 seconds, or hauling Julie Ann's pet bunny to another pageant, Jinny will forever be the best girl. She can't wait to join Julie Ann on her special day and make more memories to last a lifetime.

Julie Ann and Athena have been friends for nearly twenty years. They quickly became good friends upon introduction to one another, and they would call each other GAP (Greek American Princesses). Athena can always count on a good time when she hangs out with Julie Ann. Julie Ann always keeps Athena smiling and laughing. A few of Athena’s favorite memories include: birthday parties, Greek festivals, swimming, and girl trips. It will be an honor for her to stand next to Julie Ann on her special day not just because they are very close friends, but Athena will be her future sister-in-law. She is incredibly happy that Julie Ann found her soulmate and best friend in Clayton Orr, and wishes them nothing but happiness and good health for the two of them. XoXo!!!
Bridesmaid
Crystal is Julie Ann’s “little sister” in their sorority, Delta Gamma, which is how they met in 2009. Their friendship grew quickly from their shared love of crafting, travel, and the performing arts. No matter the amount of time spent apart, each reunion is like no time has passed at all. Crystal is so excited and honored to be a part of Julie Ann and Clayton’s big day just as Julie Ann was there to stand by Crystal on hers.
Bridesmaid
Amoreena is Julie Ann’s “little” (not so little anymore) cousin. She remembers almost every crazy color Julie ever dyed her hair and has fond memories of many Thanksgivings, Christmases, and summers spent together. She is honored to be part of such a monumental moment in Julie Ann’s life and to call her a dear friend that as luck would have it is also family.
