While we love your children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the weekend. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further!
We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we will be arranging room blocks at several nearby hotels. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Getting Here/Staying" page. Additionally, Airbnb and VRBO are great options. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or recommendations!
No! Airbnb and VRBO are always options.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Your invitation will indicate whether you have a plus-one. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us directly.
Please let Emma or Clay know ASAP if you have a major dietary restriction or allergy.
While unfortunately we cannot say for certain what the weather will be like until closer to the event, we plan to prepare for any climate changes during the ceremony and reception. However, while Southern Pines is known for beautiful springs, we encourage you to bring any clothing options that may be necessary for rain or cooler evenings.
Yes, plenty. It is a 700-acre park that can accommodate all the cars for our wedding size. The circle drive in front of the main entrance is a fire lane and should be used only for drop-offs
Our ceremony starts promptly at 2:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. We ask that all guests arrive no later than 2:00 to ensure the ceremony starts on time!
We ask that all electronics are turned off at the ceremony to stay fully present during the most important part of our day. Our photographer & videographer will capture every moment for us! After the ceremony has concluded, feel free to take whatever pictures and videos you want - and share them with us too!
We are so thankful for everyone traveling near and far to celebrate our wedding day with us! Our welcome party will be a relaxed gathering held at the beginning of the wedding weekend, giving all our guests a chance to mingle, enjoy some refreshments, & kick off the celebration with us before the big day. Information about this event can be found on “the plan" tab!
Transportation will not be provided. However, Uber and Lyft will be readily available. The church and reception venue are a short drive apart, and there will be time between the Mass and cocktail hour to plan accordingly, including time to go home or grab a drink if you please. The venue also has plenty of parking, and guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight if needed.
The ceremony will be held indoors at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The reception will be outdoors.
