Ithaca Farmers Market

Open Saturdays 9am-3pm and Sundays 10am-3pm A fun market right on Cayuga Lake. Its a nice place to get some food or local artisan products.

Ithaca Commons

The Commons are a fun place to walk around with many cute shops and restaurants. Village Taqueria and Grill

This option is further out from Ithaca, only a block from Zoe's apartment in Dryden, but it has wonderful Mexican food!

Nice outdoor area and indoor seating. Good food and nice local beer

A nice cidery with farm-to-table food and tastings.

Six Mile Creek Vineyard

Ithaca's oldest winery and distillery.

Sciencenter

A wonderful science museum for anyone with children!

Stewart Park

A lovely park for a walk on the lake. There is a recently installed carousel and playground!

Cornell Botanic Gardens

A lovely location for a walk

Robert H. Treman State Park

We went here on a waterfall tour on one of our very early weekends together. There are beautiful views along the Gorge trail of many falls.

Taughannock Falls State Park

Another favorite waterfall from our winter waterfall tour, so much so that we decided to get married in this beautiful location! Taughannock is the tallest waterfall in New York State. The hike out to the base is 3/4 of a mile but there are also opportunities to see the falls from above at the lookout!

Newman Municipal Golf Course

Neither of us golf, but we have heard good things about this course.

Watkins Glen

If you are staying longer and want to explore another cute town in the Fingerlakes, check out Watkins Glen! It is at the southern end of Seneca Lake. There is a great State park in the middle of town and many restaurants and shops.
