Per Walker Homestead guidelines, every staff member will be wearing a face mask and using safety precautions while serving food. We want to see everyone’s smiling faces on the big day while being respectful. It is our preference that you get a COVID vaccination prior to the wedding to be mindful of those around us. We also ask that EVERYONE wear a mask when using the restroom or when approaching any bar or buffet. If you have not been vaccinated prior to the wedding we ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing as much as possible, especially during the ceremony or when you are close to people outside of your “bubble”. You may take your mask off while eating, drinking, and anytime you are outdoors, which much of the day will be spent outdoors weather permitting. Please be cognizant and respectful of those around you.
The address is 3867 James Avenue Southwest, Iowa City, IA 52246. Google Maps will sometimes indicate that the venue is in Oxford. You can use this same address. We are not sure why it does this but it will still take you to the same place. We will have balloon signs indicating the direction for the wedding to help guide you. Once you get off of I-380, you will go West on Iwv Rd SW. You will take this road past the landfill (woohoo!) and eventually James Street will show up and you will go South on James Street. After a very small amount of gravel, you will see the venue at the top of the hill.

If you select the "purchased", it will tell you the item is gone but it will not ship the item or charge you, unless you actually bought the item from some place else.
The ceremony starts at 3:30. Please be there by 3:25 to find your seat.

Only those who have been addressed with a guest may bring dates. We apologize for any inconveniences.
This event will be adults only with the exception of close family and friends. We ask that you make accommodations for your children unless you have been told otherwise.
Yes you may. Please tell us on the RSVP card if you have any food allergies. If there are any other ones that we need to make for you and your family, please let us know.
There is parking. You may have to park along the side of the road on gravel. Uber and Lyft as well as City Cab will come out to the event if you would like to be car-less.
