FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1. Our vendors require final guest counts 45–60 days before the wedding, so we kindly ask that you respond by this date. Thank you for helping us stay on track!

Question

What is a family-style dinner?

Answer

A family-style dinner service means that a variety of dishes will be presented on shared platters at each table, allowing guests to enjoy multiple menu offerings. That’s why you won’t need to make a meal selection in advance—everyone will have the opportunity to try everything.

Question

Wedding Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket for the evening festivities!

Question

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

No, there are plenty of options in the area, and all are relatively close to each other. We recommend staying close to Old Port for the best walkable area and for shuttle pick up/drop off.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re keeping our guest list intimate and are only able to invite those listed on your invitation. If you believe we may have missed someone important, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Question

How will I get to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing a complimentary shuttle service to the venue. Pickup will be in Old Port at Fishermans Wharf. Additionally, there is plenty of free parking (grass lot) at the venue if you choose to drive.

Question

Can kids come? Babysitter rec?

Answer

Please keep kids at home on our wedding day. If you bring them along for the trip, let us know if you need help finding a sitter/ care in the area!

Question

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please tell us your allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will do our best!

Question

How do I get around in Portland?

Answer

If you stay in downtown/old port, everything is walkable (restaurants, bars, shops, etc.). If you are staying outside of downtown, use Uber or Lyft. Alternatively, Portland has bus transit or there is an Enterprise rental car lot in town (and others at airport).

Question

If I bus from Boston to Portland, where do I end up?

Answer

Portland Transportation Center - 10 minute drive from downtown/old port.

Question
