You may RSVP at your convenience, but we kindly ask that all responses—whether attending or unable to attend—be submitted by March 1. Having your reply by this date allows us to share accurate numbers with our vendors and ensure every detail of the celebration is thoughtfully prepared
The wedding ceremony will take place at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky on Saturday, April 25, 2026, beginning promptly at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow at The Falls, located approximately 30 minutes from the ceremony venue. The address and further details will be provided with your formal invitation. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you.
We’re aiming for a timeless and elegant celebration, so cocktail or semi-formal attire is requested. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans. Out of respect for the bride, we also ask that white, ivory, or similar shades be avoided.
The ceremony will take place indoors at a Catholic church, while the reception will be held outdoors under a tent. Please keep in mind that April weather can be a bit unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a light layer just in case.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure you have time to find parking, settle in, and get a good seat. Since we’re expecting a large number of guests, arriving early will help you avoid any rush and ensure you don’t miss a moment of the ceremony!
Since our venue is tucked away in a rural setting, rideshare services like Uber unfortunately aren’t available. We encourage you to plan ahead by arranging transportation or designating a driver for the evening, especially since the roads can be tricky if you’re not familiar with them. Cell phone reception at the venue is also limited, and while Wi-Fi is available, it can be spotty with a big crowd. We just want everyone to feel prepared and get home safely after a wonderful night of celebrating!
Yes, there will be a full open bar available for our guests to enjoy. While we look forward to celebrating together, we kindly ask that everyone prioritize safety by arranging transportation or designating a driver for the evening. Your well-being is very important to us, and we appreciate your care in making sure the night ends as joyfully as it begins.
We’re so grateful to be surrounded by our closest family and friends on such a meaningful day. While we wish we could invite everyone’s loved ones, we’ve had to be mindful of space as we planned. If your invitation includes a guest, we’d love for you to bring them! If not, please know how much we value your presence—we’re truly looking forward to celebrating this day with you.
Yes, children are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception. This will be clearly indicated on your invitation. Although we love your children, we kindly ask that alternative arrangements be made for them during the adult-only after-party following the reception. We truly hope you’ll be able to stay and celebrate with us into the evening.
We’ve reserved hotel room blocks in both Elizabethtown and Bardstown to make travel more convenient for our guests coming from different directions. You can find all hotel details, booking links, and travel information on the Travel tab of our website.
