When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The absolute last day we will accept RSVPs will be Saturday, August 1st, 2026. If you do not RSVP by that time we will unfortunately not be able to include you in our guest count and you will not be able to join us.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we ask that you wear semi-formal attire - bold colors are welcomed and encouraged! If you would like to dress along with our color scheme, you are invited to wear red or green of any shade. **Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream as that will be exclusively worn by the bride and groom.**

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation indicated a plus one, you are welcome to bring a date. If your invitation does not list a plus one, we ask that you please do not bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes!! Both families coming together today are quite large and full of children, and we would love everyone to come and celebrate! There will be children’s activities and entertainment available so kids and parents alike can have the best night possible. That being said, there will also be some areas that we ask kids to stay out of so they can remain adult-friendly - there will be signage to indicate these areas.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, of course! Please let the bride and groom know as soon as possible and we will do our best to ensure you have a safe and wonderful meal to eat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the venue has two on-site parking lots, and ADA compliant parking. The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, we ask that all guests please arrive by 4:30pm. There will be refreshments while you wait for the ceremony to begin. If you arrive *after* the start of the ceremony, please stay inside the mansion until the ceremony is over.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn in Overland Park available for those who would like to get a hotel room. The information is on the Hotels page of the website.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, guests will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the wedding. Please plan ahead, don’t drink and drive.

Answer

We are registered on Zola, you can see our registry tab on this website. We have some items for our home, as well as a Honeymoon Fund that you can choose from if you are so inclined.
