When is the RSVP needed by?

Answer

Please RSVP well in advance; RSVP is required if you plan to attend any weekend events. We ask guests to provide their responses by March 14, 2024. If you miss the RSVP date, you will surely be missed. However, we must finalize our numbers with our vendors to ensure everyone is accounted for.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We look forward to seeing our family & friends get dressed up for our big day. Please wear Spring Semi-Formal Attire (pastel colors & floral prints are encouraged). Floor-length, tea-length, midi-length dresses are welcome and a suit or tux can be worn. Please refrain from wearing white or shades close to white.

Will the Event be Held Indoor or Outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony will be held outside on the Garden Lawn (if weather permits), with Cocktail Hour inside the Historic House & the Reception in the Carriage House, which are all located at The Merrimon-Wynne House.

Will There Be Transportation?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle transportation will be available from the AC Hotel to The Merrimon-Wynne Wynn House between 4:00pm - 4:30pm and also at the conclusion of the event from 8:30-10:30pm.

Is There Parking Onsite?

Answer

The parking lot is located on Polk Street, adjacent to the venue, N Blount Street. & N Person Street. Please be aware that there is no valet parking. Cars left overnight must be removed the following day by 5:00 AM.

Can I take Photos & Videos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting an “unplugged ceremony,” meaning that we ask that all devices be turned off or silenced to enjoy being fully present for this moment with us. We will be sure to share the professional photos with guests.
