Light fabrics, floral prints, sundresses, and dressy jumpsuits are great options for women. For men, slacks with a button-down shirt or a lightweight suit work well—ties and jackets are optional but appreciated. We recommend comfortable shoes (block heels, wedges, or dressy flats) as the ceremony and reception will take place on grass.

Yes, there is parking available at the venue for both the ceremony and reception. However, please note that overnight parking is not permitted, so all vehicles must be picked up at the end of the evening. We recommend carpooling or arranging transportation if needed. Thank you for planning ahead—we want everyone to arrive and get home safely!
Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites – Des Moines Downtown to make your stay as easy as possible. To receive the group rate, please use the booking code: CEW when making your reservation. The cutoff date to book within the block is April 30, 2026. You’ll also find a list of additional nearby hotels on our Travel page. While we don’t have discount codes for those properties, they’re all conveniently located near the venue. We recommend booking early, as accommodations in the area may fill quickly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
