Where are the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be at a magical venue in the woods about 20 minutes outside of Truckee. ~ Please note that the location is *so* magical that there is no cell service. ~

Will shuttles be provided?
Answer
Yes! Transportation to and from the wedding venue is provided (and required - no parking at the venue). Pickup locations will be at the recommended Truckee hotels: Gravity Haus, SpringHill Suites and Hampton Inn.

So what do I wear?
Answer
Welcome Party - Easy Breezy Think elevated date night - sundresses, linen blazers, strappy sandals. You're on vacation, drink in hand, the whole weekend is ahead of you. Life is good. Wedding Day - Forest Fancy/Colorful Cocktail Next to a creek in the woods, under the pine trees, you're about to witness the marriage of Benny & The Jess. We're fancy, but not too fancy. Mother nature has no need for black tie, but bolos, patterns and lots of color are welcome and encouraged. For those considering heels, the venue is in the forest - trade the stilettos for a block heel. Note that the when the sun goes down, so does the temp, so plan to keep warm on the dance floor (or bring a light jacket!). Truckee River Float Swimsuits. Sunscreen. Sunglasses. Floaties if you're feeling feisty.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
We've made an offering to Helios to keep the sun shining all weekend and the weather in the mid-70s and low 80's. We feel good about it - at least that's usually the case this time of year (knock on wood). It can dip down into the high-50's at night so bring layers!

Should I rent a car?
Answer
We definitely recommend renting a car in order to have the most flexibility to experience all that this beautiful area has to offer! Check out our Things to Do page if you want help planning your weekend activities.

Is Uber a good option for getting around?
Answer
Maybe? Uber is not as readily available as you might find in other cities, though not impossible, and while it will be a holiday weekend which may help attract drivers, we don't recommend relying solely on Uber. Can I bring the kids?
Answer
The wedding is an adults-only affair. If you'd like the bring the full fam along for the weekend, we're happy to connect with you local childcare services so you can let loose at the wedding. The Sunday afternoon Truckee River float is family friendly!

Do you have a registry?
Answer
