After discussing where we wanted to get married and getting turned down by our local parishes in Houston (no date available we wanted, too expensive, not what we want, etc.) we decided to look elsewhere. We thought finding a cute little church in a small town would be perfect and that’s how we came across St. Mary’s! It was beautiful and everything we wanted, plus everyone there was so nice & very willing to help us along with the wedding planning process. Which was super refreshing coming from churches in Houston that only cared about the money.
Dress Code is Sunday’s Best. A nice dress or a nice shirt with dress pants will do just fine! Gotta look nice for Jesus :)
Of course!! Just let me know how many children you will be bringing so we can plan some fun activities for them that are age appropriate.
Wedding Ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM, ideally we would like for everyone to arrive no later than 1:50 PM. Just to ensure everyone is settled before we begin and we don’t want to hold up the ceremony since Father Nock has to head back to Fayetteville in time for Saturday Mass at St. John the Baptist.
Of course please do! My sister has a gluten allergy so I understand and we will try to be as accommodating as possible for food allergies and sensitivities.
Yup, plenty of parking at both places!
Check our travel page for our hotel suggestions but other than that we totally recommend Airbnb. They have some really cute places out in the surrounding areas.
Yup! We’re registered at Amazon, IKEA, and Target. We also have some cash funds here on our website for our honeymoon and student loans if you’d like to contribute.
