Please arrive by 3:30 to ensure the ceremony will start on time.
Our attire is Formal/Black Tie Optional. We ask that guests please wear a tuxedo, dark suit, long evening gown or dress pant suit.
If your invitation includes a +1, you are welcome to bring a guest. Please list their name and meal preference. If you were given a +1 but do not plan on bringing a guest, simply check decline by "guest" on RSVP.
There will be a trolley that can take you from Oglebay's Wilson Lodge to the ceremony location and back to the lodge for cocktail hour. The last trolley for the ceremony will leave by 3:15. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn, there will be a shuttle to take you to the ceremony location and back to the Hampton after the reception. After the ceremony, all guests can take the trolley to the lodge for cocktail hour. To access the shuttle, guests will call the front desk at the Hampton Inn, and you will tell the driver where to go ("Mansion Woods Gate").
We kindly ask that our celebration be reserved for adults, with the exception of our junior groomsman, flower girl, ring bearer, and a few close family members between 12-17 years old. We appreciate your understanding that we are unable to accommodate additional children and can only host the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for respecting our wishes as we celebrate together!
The ceremony is at Mansion Woods, behind the yellow mansion. We will have a trolley available at the lodge that will run continuously to bring guest to the ceremony location and back to the lodge for cocktail hour following the ceremony! If you are driving to ceremony location, you should park in the Mansion parking lot. Please view directions and a google map link under the ‘Schedule’ section.
The reception is in Oglebay's Wilson Lodge in the Glessner Ballroom. Cocktail hour is right outside the ballroom and on the outside grass area.
Yes! The ceremony will be outside, the cocktail hour will be indoors and outdoors, and the reception is inside.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride—such as whites, ivories, and creams—including patterns with white backgrounds. Thank you so much for understanding!
