Flight
Monterrey International Airport (MTY)
Guests can fly directly into General Mariano Escobedo International Airport, simply known as Monterrey International Airport (airport code: MTY). Depending on which airline you fly, you will likely have to connect in Dallas, Houston or Atlanta. You can also connect through Mexico City, but if you choose the Mexico City layover option, please take going through Customs into account when planning your layover time.

Local Transportation
Authorized taxi or van services are available for transportation to the city and surrounding areas. Rates are based on a zone system, the type of vehicle, and number of passengers. Passengers can buy tickets at the taxi kiosk. You can also call an Uber, but they are frowned upon by the government (at the airport only). So the workaround is calling using the app and then the driver will likely message you to let you know to act like you know them and have a passenger sit in the front seat. This is a VERY COMMON workaround in MTY. To get around town, it's safe, common and inexpensive to call an Uber (using the same app).
