The White Mountains
If you're making a vacation out of this trip and have the time, I would encourage you to check out the White Mountains. New Hampshire is known for its natural offerings. There's plenty of hiking opportunities and delicious fudge! It's truly a beauty to behold and roughly an hour and a half outside of Concord.
Canobie Lake Park
As a kid, I spent many of my summers venturing out to this amusement park. It's chock-full of rides and rollercoasters for the adventurous thrill seeker. P.S. The Extreme Frisbee is one of the wildest rides!
Weirs Beach
This public beach is right where Lake Winnipesaukee begins. There are plenty of attractions for the whole family. Don't forget the sunblock!
Canterbury Shaker Village
The former home of an interesting and unique religious community. Shakers were known for their music, furniture making and celibate lifestyle. Dan is fan of this place!
Brookdale Fruit Farm Inc
We haven't been here before, but it has been recommended and picking fruit is one the great New England experiences. Eating it is even better!
Santa's Village
We've never been here, but we both grew up seeing lots of bumper stickers of this mysterious destination. If you go, let us know how it is!
