Hello everyone, I'm Maritza! I've had the absolute honor (and sometimes the chaos) of knowing the bride for 18 years. I stood by her at her quinceanera, and somehow, she still wanted me standing by her today - so clearly, I'm doing something right! Our friendship has been a total joyride. We've laughed till we cried, cried until we laughed, and had our fair share of ups and downs - definitely mostly ups. From us sticking out tongues out at each other in first grade, to having our biggest fight in sixth grade, to high school graduation, to going out separate ways in college... and now here I will see her walk down the aisle in her beautiful white dress.

Claudia and I have known each other since elementary school! It has been so amazing to see her grow up into such an amazing woman. She has accomplished so much in life from getting her bachelor's to her master's degree. Also being a first-generation Latina and overcoming many hardships in life. I am beyond proud of here and she amazes me everyday! Even though we are far away from each other we still see each other from going to concerts together to planning a fun adventure for the day. I cherish all the memories we have made throughout our whole life together. I can't wait to continue making more memories. I'm beyond excited for this next chapter in her life!

Claudia and I first met in high school and later we became college roommates sharing countless memories along the way. She’s one of the most thoughtful and loyal people I know, and I’m so lucky to call her a friend. Seeing her stay so dedicated through graduate school only deepened my admiration for her resilience. Though life has taken us in different directions, we still make time for each other - especially as travel buddies exploring new places together. From boarding gates to wedding gates, our friendship continues to grow with each milestone. I’m grateful to be by her side on her special day and beyond excited for all the beautiful moments still ahead.

I’ve known Claudia since middle school and it’s crazy to think of how we grew from kids into adults who have shared and seen so many chapters of life together. Our friendship truly blossomed in college where we went on spontaneous adventures and moments where we pushed each other to try new things and become better people. She has been the kind of friend who brings joy, warmth, wisdom, and strength to every moment, which I have always admired. I’m so proud of who she’s become and all of her accomplishments. Seeing her step into this next chapter of her life makes me genuinely happy and I’m grateful to have been apart of her journey.
