We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend while we were both at Sacramento State! I received a Snapchat from our friend letting us know that Brandon thought I was cute. One thing led to another; we started hanging out without the mutual friend and the rest is history!

After talking for a couple of months, Claudia was going to move back to Santa Rosa because COVID-19 closed down the dorms at Sacramento State. Brandon had to make a decision to ask or wait for Claudia to move back which did not happen until August. #03272025

We were on a family trip to the East Coast. The day we were going to Niagara Falls there were little side comments dropped about today being a big day, how important a fancy dinner was, and a mention of a set up (I acted oblivious, but I was freaking out getting ready in the hotel). We got to dinner at a steakhouse with a view of the falls and Brandon was on his phone the whole time (he says he wasn't nervous). After dinner we were walking around with no direction in mind then finally Brandon says we have to go. He hands me his phone and says to start recording (ask us for the videos its literally just us walking and me "confused"). In the end one of the videos captures my reaction/ugly crying to the proposal! BEST DAY EVER for now...

Funny story actually, Brandon started saying every Saturday that he was busy at his mom's house which I thought nothing of. That was until I saw a Facebook post that had a jewelry store tagged, I ignored it then came back to it and the tag was gone. I'm sure a lot of you know what I'm talking about LOL. I thought nothing of this and then one day Brandon said my dad wasn't adding him back on Facebook, so he asked for his number. After this I saw Brandon's location in Dixon on a random Saturday while I was at work and the whole time, I was wondering what he did. So, when I asked Brandon, he said he did nothing, but interestingly enough he had used a nice shirt but for what if he did nothing??? The day of the proposal is when everything finally clicked, and I think I accidentally saw a picture of the ring in the box but I didn't get a good glance, so I wasn't really sure what I saw.
