One of our favorite restaurants in the cities! They use all decolonized ingredients, so they are naturally dairy-free and gluten-free. Reservations are recommended, but they do have limited walk-in availability for lunch.

Owamni by The Sioux Chef

The falls are just over the Mississippi from our neighborhood in Saint Paul. We like to go take in the views with a pitcher of beer from Sea Salt eatery which is located right in the park!

Minnehaha Falls

Home of The Juicy Lucy, a burger filled with molten cheese. The bar is pretty small and the wait to get seated can be long. But the burgers are worth it! (They are Cash Only, but do have an ATM inside.)

Matt's Bar and Grill

Independent, Native owned bookstore with a cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. They also sell various Indigenous made artwork.

Birchbark Books & Native Arts

Do we need to explain the Mall of America? Lots of stores, restaurants, and even an amusement park and aquarium!
