Daytime semi-formal is most fitting the venue and atmosphere. Just make sure you can dance in comfort!

What is the timeline of events?

Answer

Please arrive between 12:30 and 12:50 p.m. at the White Oak Estate house and be seated in the front parlor. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. The reception in the adjoining ballroom will begin with cocktails and light hors-d'oeuvres while awaiting the couple. Our festive reception will include a buffet feast by cajun chef John Folse and both ballroom dance and pop music spanning several decades. It will conclude with the couple send-off at 4:30 p.m.

How do I RSVP and what is the deadline?

We request your RSVP by August 1, 2026 via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance.

May I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We can only accommodate guests named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love little ones, we've decided to have a celebration with only adults and the adolescents named on invitations. Thank you for making arrangements.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

At this stage of our lives, we have too much stuff, so gifts are not needed nor expected. However, if you still want to uphold the wedding gift tradition, we would be happy to receive and greatly appreciate your contribution to the Corbitt College Fund for Brent's daughters' educations (through a link in the registry section of this website), or a gift card to your favorite local restaurant (since neither of us like to cook, but love to eat great food).
