Wedding Party

Taylor Jost

Maid of Honor

My Maid of Honor, Taylor, is proof that sometimes the best friendships start in the most random places. We walked out of a bathroom stall at fire school at the same time, and that was it. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. We powered through EMT school together, quickly becoming known as the loudest two in class, which probably didn’t help our instructors’ blood pressure but did make every lecture a lot more fun. Over the years, she’s been my constant, my built-in hype woman, my voice of reason when I need it, and the devil on my shoulder when I don’t. We’ve gone through everything side by side, even pregnancy, because of course our kids had to be born within a month of each other, like little built-in best friends. And Taylor isn’t just there for the fun stuff, she’s there when it matters most. She was literally in the delivery room helping bring my daughter Clara into the world, which pretty much locks in her status as family forever. She’s been my partner in chaos, my shoulder to cry on, my person to laugh with until we can’t breathe, and my sister by choice. If you know Taylor, you know she’s bold, loyal, hilarious, and just the right amount of inappropriate. I honestly can’t imagine standing here without her, though let’s be real, even if she weren’t in the wedding, she’d just be the loudest one in the audience anyway.

Avery Boguszewski

Bridesmaid

This is Avery. We met through Connor, she’s his girlfriend, soon to be his fiancée, and from the very beginning we just clicked. She got my sense of humor right away, which is saying something, and somehow she’s never been scared off by it. Avery is the friend who listens to me vent about anything and everything, whether it’s serious or just me being dramatic. She shows up for girls’ nights, where we laugh too loud, eat too much, and somehow solve all the world’s problems before midnight. She’s always there when I need her, whether it’s a phone call, a hug, or just sitting on the couch with me while I ramble. What I love most about Avery is how easy she makes friendship feel. She’s supportive without judgment, funny without trying, and has a way of making even an ordinary night at home feel like something special. Over time she’s gone from being ‘Connor’s girlfriend’ to being one of the people I trust most, someone who has been there in both the fun and the heavy moments, and someone who feels like family. I’m so grateful life brought her into mine, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her standing here with me

Andrew Olson

Bridesman

This is Andrew. We met working at the fire department, and our friendship kicked off in probably the most ridiculous way possible. I walked into shift with a finger that had just been stitched, dried blood on my hand, and asked him if he thought the chief would let me work like that. We had literally never met, but instead of telling me I was insane, he laughed, and from that moment on we were friends. Since then, Andrew and I have been through it all: long shifts, chaotic calls, and more questionable choices in bars than I’d ever dare admit. We’ve shared adventures big and small, including an unforgettable trip to New York City where we turned the streets into our playground. And at the center of it all is our shared love for Lizzo. She is, without question, our queen. We’ve blasted her songs too loud, danced way too hard, and honestly, our friendship has its own soundtrack, and Lizzo is on repeat. Andrew isn’t just my friend, he’s family. He’s sarcastic, loyal, hilarious, and has this way of making even the messiest moments feel like an adventure. He’s been part of some of my favorite chapters in life, and now he’s here for one of the biggest. I couldn’t imagine this day without him.

Connor Risberg

Groomsman

This is Connor. We met working at the fire department when he was an intern, and we became friends instantly. On one of his very first calls, he got to witness me in full “Meagan mode,” pulling some of my typical one-liners, and instead of questioning all his life choices, he laughed and rolled with it. That was the beginning of a friendship that has only gotten stronger. We had known each other for maybe three days when he volunteered to drive a moving truck for my grandparents through the middle of a snowstorm. That’s just who Connor is. He is always willing to drop everything to help, whether it’s hauling furniture, fixing something around the house, or building a sandbox for Sawyer. He’s dependable in every way that matters. Over the years, we’ve not only shared countless memories, but Connor has also grown close with Sean and with our family as a whole. He’s the rare kind of friend who will show up no matter what whether it’s an emergency or just for the fun of it. We’re so thankful he’s standing up on Sean’s side today, because we truly couldn’t imagine this day without him.

Nate Jost

Groomsman

This is Nate. We met through Taylor, and right away I knew he was one of those rare people who’s just genuinely good. Later we also worked together at the fire department, which gave us plenty of stories that I’ll never forget. My very first shift was proof of that. Within ten minutes a silo fire came out, and Nate looked me dead in the eye and told me it would be fun. Spoiler alert: it was absolutely not fun. But that moment set the tone for our friendship, him talking me into things, me realizing too late what I signed up for, and both of us laughing about it afterwards. That’s who Nate is: the guy who makes even the hardest situations easier, the guy who knows how to crack a joke when the stress is high, and the guy who somehow convinces you that crawling into chaos is a good idea. He’s steady, loyal, and someone we can always count on to show up. Over the years, Nate has become so much more than just Taylor’s husband or my coworker. He’s grown close with Sean and with our family, and he’s become a true friend through all the chaos, the laughter, the questionable decisions, and everything in between. Nate is sarcastic, dependable, and one of the most easygoing people you’ll ever meet, and we are so glad he’s standing on Sean’s side today.

Danielle

Bridesmaid

This is Danielle, my sister. We never got the chance to grow up side by side, but every visit we had was special. I still remember us laying in bed together, having the sister talks we both had been longing for. Those moments meant so much, and over the last few years we’ve only grown closer, talking literally every day. Danielle is the kind of sister who always makes me feel heard and understood. She’s fun, she’s thoughtful, and she’s been a constant source of love and support as I’ve built my own little family. Even though we didn’t share a childhood, the bond we have now is proof that sisters don’t need decades together to be close. It just happens naturally when it’s meant to. I’m so grateful to have her here today, not just as my sister but as one of my closest friends. Having her stand by my side means the world to me, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Ashley Masters

Bridesmaid

This is Ashley. Technically, we’ve known each other since high school, but we barely remembered each other from those days. Our real friendship started years later when she began working at the fire department, and from that point on she’s been one of my people. I’ll never let her live down the time she swore she had gone through the ambulance, only for us to roll up on a call with a patient puking and realize the one medication we needed, Zofran, wasn’t even stocked. Ashley is equally as obsessed with dogs as I am, she lives just a few houses down, and she’s the kind of friend who shows up with Starbucks at work, listens when I need to vent, and makes me laugh about everything in between. She’s steady, supportive, and always knows how to make life lighter. At the end of the day, Ashley isn’t just a friend, she’s family, and she also happens to be my favorite Safety Hazard. I couldn’t imagine this day without her standing here with me.”

Heather Gablin

Bridesmaid

Heather is Sean’s sister, and we are so happy to have her standing with us on our wedding day. Having her as part of the wedding party makes the celebration even more special. She brings humor, energy, and warmth wherever she goes, and she has a way of making every get-together more fun. Whether it’s through her quick wit, her easy laugh, or the way she connects with the people around her, Heather always manages to make moments more memorable. Having her as part of the wedding party is a celebration not just of family but of the joy and laughter she adds to our lives. We couldn’t imagine this day without Heather’s support, her humor, and her presence by our side as we start this next chapter together.

Ryan Cottini

Groomsman

Ryan is Sean’s brother, and we’re so excited to have him standing with us on our wedding day. To his nieces and nephew, he’s better known as Uncle Char Char, and without question, he’s the favorite. Ryan has a special way with kids he’s playful, fun, and always the one down on the floor making them laugh.

Eric Lipinski

Groomsman

Eric is one of Sean’s best friends , and the two met back in college through their fraternity. What started with late nights, and more than a few questionable decisions quickly turned into a friendship that has stood strong ever since. From frat house chaos to grown-up adventures, Eric has always been one of the people Sean can count on for loyalty, laughter, and a good story. Eric is the kind of friend who keeps things fun but is also steady and dependable when it matters most. He’s been by Sean’s side through plenty of memories, some best left off a wedding website

Mickey Gablin

Groomsman

Mickey is Sean’s brother-in-law, and we’re so glad to have him as part of our wedding party. He’s easygoing, dependable, and always brings a good sense of humor to any gathering. Whether it’s family get-togethers, celebrations, or just the everyday moments in between, Mickey is the kind of person who makes things more fun. Having him stand by Sean’s side on such an important day means a lot to both of us, and we’re grateful to celebrate this chapter of our lives with him as part of the wedding party.

Matt Tollner

Groomsman

Sean and Matt first crossed paths in college, where a solid friendship formed. Even though life has taken them in different directions and they don’t get to hang out all the time, whenever they reconnect it’s easy to pick up right where they left off. These days, skiing is one of the ways they stay connected, making time to hit the slopes together when they can. Matt has been a loyal, easygoing presence in Sean’s life, and having him here to celebrate means a lot.
