This is our favorite beach and where we got engaged! Parking can be pretty rough so we recommend going first thing in the morning. As an alternative you can go to the beach right before this one that has parking at Kailua Beach.
We would consider this an easy to intermediate level hike with beautiful views! You do need to make a reservation for parking which you can do at the link listed below. Reservations can get booked up fast, so make sure to secure your spot!
Almost always smooth waters and easy parking! Go here if you want a no fuss beach location to enjoy the sun and waves.
We love the North Shore and the food you can find nearby! This beach is really nice at sunset but parking can be rough; you may need to park on a neighborhood street but please be mindful and respectful of the locals. Come first thing in the morning to avoid crowds or early afternoon if you want to catch the sunset.
Be ready to get your shoes muddy but it's worth it for the views!
The BEST farmer's market on the island that you do not want to miss. This farmers market is only open on Saturday's from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Make sure to get a fruit bowl from Sugah Papi Farms!
We love this shave ice! All flavors are so good - make sure to get a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top with their li hing mui drizzle.
Everyone's favorite tourist spot! The OG and guava flavors are our top picks.
Clarizza's go to order is one scoop of rice, spicy ahi, and Hawaiian blend and Christian's order is the ahi katsu and smoke meat plate lunch.
They are closing their original location but will be open in November at their new spot on Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki, Honolulu. Be on the lookout for details of their new location. It will be some of the best Vietnamese/Hawaiian fusion food you will have!
