We first met at a video game arcade named Headquarters in Chicago. The date consisted of drinks and arcade games, many of which Mike was determined to win! He knew he met someone special after Clar handed him a few losses in Mortal Kombat.

We were attending a cooking class for Mike's birthday gift. After creating a tasty dinner, Mike convinced Clar to meet up with his friends who were in town. As we walked through Washington Square Park, he bent down on one knee. It was undoubtedly a "YES!" He followed with a surprise party with their closest friends, and the celebration continued into the night! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives and are looking forward to sharing a beautiful night in Chicago with you!
