Flight

Cancun International Airport

Wherever you choose to fly from, fly into CUN airport in Mexico. Make sure to secure a shuttle, taxi, or other transportation to take you to/from the resort. The drive from the airport is about 1 hour one way, so please anticipate that in your travel plans. Since many of you are traveling on the same flight/airport, you may want to coordinate sharing a shuttle.

Barceló Maya Riviera - All Inclusive

We will be staying in the Adults Only hotel (purple in header photo) of the Barceló Riviera Maya resort group, but you can choose which ever hotel suits you best! As a guest of any of their hotels, you will have access to all of the other properties as it is all-inclusive, meaning you don’t have to carry cash or cards on you! (including food and drinks). We recommend that you book as early as possible to budget accordingly and secure your desired vacation.

While we love exploring the natural beauty around us, you don't have to leave the resort to have fun! Each hotel has pools, private beach access, free water sports, activities scheduled at each pool, a Kids Club, and spas (not included in your stay).

Excursions!

There are several activities that you can do on the trip, we suggest booking the excursions through the resort as they will know the reputable companies + suggest times/places to go. You can also book them through the companies, through third-party sites (Expedia, Groupon, etc.) but we have found the resort to be the most helpful in booking, especially for large groups. Double-check that the excursion company provides transportation to and from the resort or make other arrangements. Our favorite excursions are day trips to Xel-Ha, Xplor, and snorkeling!
