We are so sorry that you couldn’t join us for this special day, but we get it. Just please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make it as we have a cap on how many guests we can have at the wedding festivities and would like to extend an invitation to other loved ones.
YES. You will not be permitted to attend the events, be on resort property, or attend the wedding if you are not a guest at the Barcelo Riviera Maya resort group. We have loved staying here for vacations over the years and we’re sure you’ll love it too!
Gabriel and Clarisse will arrive on December 10, 2025, and marry on December 13, 2025. How long you stay is up to you, but we would love to vacation together! We ask that your party be checked into Barcelo Resort no later than the afternoon of Friday, December 12th since we need everyone to be at the ceremony on time the following day.
Your room, housekeeping, room service, unlimited drinks, and food! As a Barceló guest, you will have access to food, drinks, pools, and the restaurants at each of the hotels through the fancy little bracelet you receive at check in. You can take a shuttle around the property to explore all the options and meet up with family and friends wherever they’re staying. Explore the Barcelo website for more info!
Yes, the more the merrier! However, only invited adults are allowed to attend the wedding events. Please note that you must arrange childcare for the uninvited children for the duration of the ceremony and reception. We want this to feel like a big family vacation, so do what feels right for you and your family.
Yes! Everyone going on the trip must have a valid, UNEXPIRED passport to fly to Mexico and the resort will make copies of them for each guest staying. Please give yourself plenty of time if you need to get or renew your passport as it does take a long while to get it in the mail. There is also an online method to renew! Use this link to see if you qualify for online renewal: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew-online.html
We do not expect any gifts as we understand you’re already gifting us with your presence in Mexico! If you really feel like blessing us with a gift, we kindly ask that you give to our cash funds listed here on our wedding website
We live in swimsuits and cover ups when we go to Riviera Maya - we recommend that you do too! Please remember some nice outfits for dinner, as some of the in-house restaurants (included in your all-inclusive package) require a nicer dress code. For ladies, this means sandals and a dress or skirt. For gentleman, please remember PANTS, closed toed shoes, and collared shirts. FOR THE WEDDING: We kindly ask that you wear beach cocktail attire, so no jeans or casual attire. When in doubt, ask Clarisse!
Here are our essentials: - Sunblock! The sun is no joke out there and while the resort does sell some in their mini pharmacies, they are overpriced. Please make sure it’s reef safe as Quintana Roo takes environmentalism very seriously. - Insect repellant. We are in the jungle! The mosquitoes are huge and will chew you up, we recommend bringing lots of insect repellant to keep you bite free! - Water-proof phone cases. You’ll want to take lots of pictures on the beach and in the pool, so keep your phone safe in these little pouches. - Hats and Sunglasses. Again, sun is no joke and we want you to be as comfy as possible during your stay! - Water bottles! Bring your Stanley, Hydroflask, whatever you like - the resort tries to promote sustainability and will gladly fill up your cup with water or alcohol ;). We like doing this because our drinks stay cooler longer in that jungle heat and we don’t have to go back for refills as often! - Cash! Although everything is included in your stay, the resort employees survive off of our tips! We like to tip throughout our stay, a few bucks here and there is appreciated, PLUSSSSS we noticed we get our drinks faster that way ;). Remember to bring a good amount to tip your housekeeper at the end of your stay! they keep our rooms beautiful!
Yes! We understand that not everyone shares our Catholic faith but we welcome you to join us at this very special ceremony. All we ask is that you are respectful of our faith by dressing nicely, quietly listening to us exchange beautiful vows, and joining us for the party after!
