Julie (the bestieeee <3) and Claris met during college through ASCE and have been inseparable. In college they were the ultimate duo of ALWAYS accidentally matching our outfits, going to K-pop concerts, and coordinating events for ASCE (and stressing about them together lol). Nowadays you can find them looking for cute places to eat and drink even though Claris ends up doing most of the drinking for the both of them LOL.
Eddie Lopez
Best Man
Eddie and Ruwanka have been good friends since elementary school, and their friendship has grown over the past decade through their similar interest in cars, the Dodgers, and traveling. Eddie and Ruwanka have traveled to numerous places around the globe including to see the Dodgers play at Wrigley, Brazil for the World Cup, and Tokyo for some good sushi. Eddie has become like a brother to Ruwanka over the years, and considers him family.
Ahmed Guerrero

Ahmed and Claris also met through ASCE during her first year of college! He was one of the first friends that she made during college and has been one of her closest friends since then. Claris' favorite memory with Ahmed is sitting together for a 36 HOUR train ride to Kansas City for a national student competition. Lots of memories were made during the trip.
Danny Sahu

Danny and Ruwanka have been friends since high school, where they played in a ska band and took AP Calculus together (the perfect combination for a lasting friendship). While they've lived on opposite coasts, they continue to see each other as often as possible and continue to debate whether civil or mechanical engineering is superior.
Apekshya Bajracharya

Apekshya and Claris also met through ASCE during college (do you see a pattern? lol). They would go hours and hours talking about life while just sitting in the car. Time literally flies by whenever these two would hang out and talk! They both also love to dance and sing karaoke :D
Darnel Perera

Darnel is Ruwanka's brother, and was born when Ruwanka was 11, so no surprise they carry some similar hobbies including playing basketball, music, and watching movies. Darnel is an avid tv show/film critic, and can go toe to toe with Billie Eillish on the best Office fan in the world.
Daisy Mendez

Daisy was the very first person Claris met in high school and instantly clicked with her! Daisy and Claris became really good friends as Daisy was the President and Claris was the Vice President for the first two years of the high school magnet they were in. Both Daisy and Claris love exploring Los Angeles' coolest spots to eat and hang out!
Floyd Rivera
Groomsman
Floyd and Ruwanka met through Claris (shocker), and quickly became friends by attempting to step up Floyd's Instagram game (still a work in progress). In all seriousness, Floyd's been very welcoming, sincere, and helpful including getting the family together so Ruwanka could get the family buy in on the proposal. Floyd and Ruwanka have shared good times over golfing, tv shows, and debating how good Luka Doncic really is.
Kristen Marquez

Kristen (the wifey) and Claris met during the orientation for the Miss Filipina International Pageant and instantly became close. From carpooling to events, going to the gym, and practicing their pageant walks, they literally did everything pageant related together. Claris and Kristen are also both foodies and love eating out together. You can always catch us taking a bunch of pics of our food :)
John Nguyen

John and Ruwanka met through work, both serving as members of the Water Employees' Club and Water Innovation Team. Through their countless projects together, John and Ruwanka became great friends carrying a similar work ethic and passion for excellence. Outside of work, they both frequented basketball games at Staples Center (including sitting with Lonzo & Lamelo Ball's grandpa) and being members of the LA Athletic Club.
Patricia Cabradilla

Patricia and Claris also met during the Miss FIlipina International Pageant. Patricia is from San Diego, but whenever she visits Los Angeles, you can find Claris and Patricia going to concerts and music festivals. They both share a love for K-pop and Latin music!
Matthew Cristi

Matt and Ruwanka met through ASCE, and quickly realized they had similar humor, life goals, and passion for Patagonia. Over the relatively short time they've known each other, they quickly became good friends while golfing, eating sushi on Mondays (#SushiMondays), and working together on a variety of ASCE projects.
Sariah Perera

Sariah is Ruwanka's little sister but she's basically a little sister that Claris never had! They have the same taste in fashion so if you ever see them wearing the same clothes, don't be surprised LOL. And a fun fact, they both prefer clear soda (Sprite) over dark soda (Coke) lol. Like they say, great minds think alike! :D

Sean and Ruwanka have been friends since Elementary School, having grown up living across the street from each other. Growing up, they shared a similar passion for basketball, music, and video games, often playing Halo 2 during their high school days. Into their early 20s, you could likely find both of them playing basketball at LA Fitness into the end of the night.
