Gallery & Our Story
Clare and Jordan met in the summer of 2020 at work - yes, not the most ideal meeting place, we know. Clare was training Jordan on the electronic health system, and since it was COVID, they spent two full weeks sharing an office with very little other human interaction. Clare now jokes that Jordan had no choice but to fall in love.
Between actually getting work done (don’t worry, very PG), they talked and laughed about music, family, life goals, and faith. When training ended and Jordan was heading to a different site, Clare decided to shoot her shot and say, “Let me know if you ever try coffee” as they walked to their cars.
The very next day, Jordan texted:
“I’m going to get that coffee stuff tomorrow, wanna come with me?”
And the rest is history.
Jordan proposed in February 2025 on one of their favorite walking paths in Des Moines, after picking up a couple of Clare’s favorite Spanish lattes (yes, Clare successfully created a coffee lover).
