Welcome Event

Casual

Mary, Clara’s mom, is hosting a welcome event for available guests at her VRBO near the venue. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres and both alcoholic and NA beverages. All are welcome. Notes from the Airbnb host: The address of the VRBO is 134 Hawkbill Creek Rd. But it’s often easier to map your GPS to our house which is just down the hill and our address is: 535 Stoney Fork Rd. Barnardsville, NC 28709. The road in is a gravel road that is a little steep in places. While a 4wd or high clearance vehicle will be more comfortable, we have had all kinds of cars (including a Ford Mustang, Cooper mini, and Tesla) up at the cabin with no problems! (Note that there are no street lights.)

Rehearsal Dinner

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Casual. This event will be outdoors (weather permitting), and please note the property has grass and gravel.

We are planning a casual cookout for tonight. Everyone is invited! Note on parking: Park where you can ~ there is not one big lot, but there should be sufficient parking around the wind-y property. Please carpool if possible. Note on bathroom: There is a short, uphill walk on a dirt path to the primary bathroom, which is a (nice) bathroom trailer.

Wedding

4:00 pm

The attire is festive mountain formal. This event will be outdoors, and the property has grass and gravel.

Arrive at 4pm, ceremony at 4:30pm. For dinner, there will be a food truck serving several options of elevated southern cuisine and a serve-yourself open bar with alcoholic and NA options. Note on parking: Park where you can ~ there is not one big lot, but there should be sufficient parking around the wind-y property. Please carpool if possible. Note on terrain: Outdoors in a hilly clearing, which includes grass and gravel. Plan your footwear accordingly!
