This is a free museum right by Worcester. There is a little bit of everything (literally: don't miss the Greek status OR the violins).
A beautiful botanic garden (perfect on a sunny day). Entry is £7.50.
This cosy, walkable street has lots of good shopping: be sure to stop at Scriptum for stationery or Nora's Antiques for silver jewellery. Take a turn down Brasenose Lane and see the Radcliffe Camera, or stop at Knoops for some excellent hot chocolate!
This is a beautiful natural area that is great for a wander. (It's also where Hermione proposed!)
An iconic Oxford bookshop. Need we say more?
We've had almost every afternoon tea available in Oxford. This one is the best one we've tried: a classic tea with fresh scones and clotted cream.
A perennial favourite of Hermione's. Order the cashew chicken or the satay!
This is another wonderful walk in Oxford, not least because it is often inhabited by cows.
This is one of our favourite pubs. It's been operating since at least 1566 and has inspired the likes of Thomas Hardy and CS Lewis. Look for “Speak, friend, and enter" inscription above the door.
We recommend a wander through Magdalen College (you'll note it's close to the Botanic Gardens). The Chapel is beautiful and there is a large park full of deer. They're rumoured to end up as venison at Magdalen formal dinners.
