Yes! We are asking all of our guests, including Colorado residents and extended family, to take the shuttle. If you have concerns, please speak with the bride or groom before April 1. Shuttles back to Golden will be available at 8:30pm. End of night shuttles will depart the venue around 10:30pm.
No, but we respectfully encourage any non-vaccinated guests to get a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to our wedding to help protect the bride, as well as our high-risk family and friends.
Cocktail. Colorado leans to the more casual side of things; however, we are excited to see everyone looking nice! No jeans please. April in Colorado will be cold! Please wear a warm jacket as we are planning to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside weather permitting. The venue is at 8,900ft elevation, so it will be in the 30s when the sun sets.
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding. Please contact us with any questions.
Yes! Please note your food allergy or special diet on your RSVP.
"Sometimes called “mountain sickness,” altitude sickness is a group of symptoms that can strike if you walk or climb to a higher elevation, or altitude, too quickly." - WebMD North Star Gatherings is nestled in the mountains at 8,900 ft. Some of our guests may experience shortness of breath, dizziness or headache. We recommend hydrating *before* the wedding and arriving in Colorado 24 hours ahead of time to adjust. There will be small oxygen cans on site if needed.
Up to you! You do not need to worry about driving to the venue since we are providing complimentary shuttles. Having a car would come in handy if you plan to explore outside the Denver/Golden area during your stay. There is also a bus from the Denver airport that goes to Golden, see the travel tab for details.
