Our entire wedding weekend will take place at Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin — a historic boutique hotel filled with charm and character. We’ve reserved the full property so we can celebrate together in one place!
Yes. Maxwell Mansion offers limited on-site parking for guests, with additional public parking conveniently located just across the street. Detailed parking instructions will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
Black Tie Optional. We’d love for everyone to dress up — tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but suits and cocktail dresses are just as perfect. The ceremony and dinner will take place outdoors, with dancing moving indoors later in the evening. We recommend footwear suitable for lawn surfaces and bringing a light layer for after sunset.
August in Lake Geneva is typically warm during the day and cooler in the evening, with temperatures often ranging from the mid-70s to low-80s °F. Because both the ceremony and dinner will be outdoors, we suggest breathable fabrics for the daytime and a wrap or jacket for later in the evening when temperatures drop.
While we adore your little ones, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event. Due to venue capacity and overall guest count limitations, we are unable to accommodate children. Yes! Join us on Friday, July 31 from 7:00–9:00 PM for a sunset boat cruise on Lake Geneva to start the celebration. Drinks and light apps (Passed hors d'oeuvres) will be provided — we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a beautiful evening on the water. Additional details will be shared as we get closer.
