Our story begins 5 years ago when we met through mutual friends (shoutout Lily and Blake!) while both attending the University of Kansas. There was an instant, natural connection between us, always gravitating towards each other in a crowded room. Each was drawn by the other’s charm and the ease of conversation. It’s up for debate who made the first move beyond friendship and we soon became inseparable. We enjoyed game nights with friends, date parties, bowling, cheering on the Jayhawks, and movie nights throughout the remainder of our college days before moving home to Kansas City after graduation. While we each focused on young adulthood and our individual careers, our love continued to grow more each day. While in Kansas City, we loved spending time with friends and family, especially at the Heiman’s lake house, and enjoying all the best restaurants in KC. The summer of 2024, we decided to move to Denver, and it has been such an adventure. We have loved exploring the city, finding new coffee shops and restaurants, meeting new friends, and attending lots of themed parties. Our favorite part, of course, is the mountains. We both enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and admiring the beauty of the created world. We are so excited for our friends and family to join us in Colorado for our wedding at our beautiful home parish, Holy Ghost. We both knew our relationship was going to be forever from very early on, even if it was unspoken. God has been leading us deeper in love over the past few years and through all of life's ups and downs, we have chosen to love each other truly and deeply. We cannot wait to receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and become husband and wife as we continue living out God’s plan for us. Here’s to forever!
