Claire and Quentin met in an elevator... which is hilarious because Quentin ended up selling elevators. But that's just a small part of the story. After exchanging smiles in an elevator in PA Hall at the University of Pittsburgh, Claire and Quentin's love story began. Quentin noticed Claire again in Intro to Psych and claimed he would follow her Vera Bradley tote (thanks for buying me an easy-to-spot bright floral print, Nana!) as she exited the large lecture hall and headed to the shuttle bus to Upper Campus. One day, they exchanged words on that bus about the upcoming exam. They lived in the same building and studied for the exam together in a little common area at the dorm, and the rest is history! Don't ask who did better on the exam... it's a sore subject. (Quentin)

Over the years, Quentin and Claire have been through their ups and downs (see, more elevators...) but their undeniable connection, complete with strong Italian family traditions and love for the Steel City, always won in the end. Quentin learned about the long hours of technical rehearsals and went to plays for fun. Claire joined the fan club for the Cowboys (reluctantly, even though she always learned to stay away from Dallas supporters from her Giants-loving father) and brainstormed more ways to cook healthy chicken dishes than she could ever imagine was possible. See, that's what it's about people... love and sacrifice. It's been a wild ride, seeing the world and changing career paths. After graduation, Claire lived in Charlotte, NC and then Hartford, CT to work at various theatre companies. Quentin moved to New York to work for OTIS (you guessed it) Elevator. After doing the long distance thing and spending too much time on the Van Wyck driving to see each other, they made the decision to move back to the city that started it all... Pittsburgh. Together, they've hiked in the Rocky Mountains and Olympic National Park, driven thousands of miles for hundreds of hours to visit their loving families in Long Beach and Fairport. They adopted a puppy that they named Schenley after one of their favorite spots at Pitt. They have taken leaps of faith to pursue their dreams rather than sit behind a desk. Eventually, Quentin made the decision to propose to Claire on the water in his Dad's backyard, with their families nearby and able to celebrate just moments after. It was a special day they will never forget. Especially because Quentin's step mom, Shannon, probably has the footage from the security cameras.

Currently, you can find Quentin and Claire in Pittsburgh's Polish Hill neighborhood. Claire works as an actor, teaching artist and marketing professional. Quentin owns a construction company with his brother and best friend Donato, and close college buddy, GianCarlo. They have amazing friends that they just couldn't leave for long in the 'burgh (you'll see... the bridal party is HUGE) and incomparable family that supports them through it all. They are so grateful for you reading this far and cannot wait to celebrate!
