FAQs

We want your stay to be fun, comfortable, and easy. Email us with any questions that arise.
Question

Aren't you already married? Will there be another ceremony?

Answer

YES! We are so blessed to have been able to get married September 5, 2020, at the Lempke family cabin in Northern Minnesota. Only our parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews were in attendance, so we called it "WElope." Now we get to have the larger celebration that we've always dreamed of. We will have a vow renewal ceremony, cocktail hour, a sit-down dinner, and then dancing, games & general merriment. We can't wait to see you all and celebrate our marriage together!

Question

What COVID precautions are you and your vendors taking?

Answer

We will follow any Dane County ordinances in place at the time of our event. We will update our guests if anything changes between now and then. As of September 30, 2021, masks ARE required for all indoor gatherings in our county. If that changes before October 8, we will provide that update here, though even if the mandate is lifted you will still be welcome to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable. With everyone's health and safety in mind, we ask that only our fully vaccinated family and friends attend this event. If you have not yet gotten a vaccine, we invite you to join the celebration virtually.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

YES! We will have a dance floor set up with our favorite tunes so you can dance the night away.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the nature of our venue and the timing of the event, we kindly ask that only kids of close family members be in attendance. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

We encourage you to dress up in cocktail attire! Think sport coats and ties, not tuxes (unless you REALLY want to wear a tux). Like most seasons in Wisconsin, Fall can be a bit unpredictable. Bring a warm layer for the evening. Our entire event will be indoors, but there is a fun semi-outdoor space if you'd like to play bean bag toss or enjoy the night sky.
