There are multiple parking garages near the Art Institute. Here is a helpful link: https://www.millenniumgarages.com/all-garages/?gad_source=1 Hot Tip from my friend: "I checked out the parking for your wedding and if people reserve their parking ahead of time, it is significantly cheaper than just driving up and paying whatever the rate is. The Millennium Park garage is the closest to the exit address of your reception. I reserved from 5:30 PM to 12:15 AM for $14. If you just drive up the cost is $37 for that same amount of time." So try to reserve ahead of time to save a good chunk of change!
Wedding guests will enter the museum at 111 S Michigan Avenue. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15. Late arrivals will enter at the same location. After 7:30 guests will need to enter the Modern Wing at 159 E Monroe Street. Guests will depart from the Modern Wing at the end of the evening.
Unfortunately, doors will not be open prior to 6:00 as the museum needs time for its guests to exit! So plan to arrive at 6:00 with a ceremony start time at 6:15!
Invitations were mailed on April 15. Please allow some time to receive it, but reach back out in May if it seemed to have gotten lost in the mail. Everyone who received a Save the Date should receive the formal invitation!
