We are getting married!

We met at a mutual friend's birthday party at Guthrie's Tavern back in 2014. Mike was shooting his shot with Claire, but Claire didn't pay him much attention (although she thought he was very handsome so she friended him on Facebook the next day). Fast forward 7 years, and Mike decided it was time to shoot his shot once again, sending a very memorable Facebook message. Claire agreed to a date with the man she had met 7 years prior, and they rendezvoused at Roebuck on June 30th, 2021. They shared a couple of drinks and many laughs, and he walked her back to her apartment (a very hot and sweaty 2 mile walk) where they shared a kiss on the sidewalk. On July 12th, 2021, Mike and Claire met at the Art Institute for their third date. Claire was sitting on the steps when Mike approached. It was the best date ever and one we talk about often. On October 21, 2023, Mike proposed to Claire at the Art Institute and we are so grateful to be getting married at this very special place. We cannot wait to dance the night away with all of our favorite people!
