In September of 2019, Claire and McLaine each ventured to Kansas City for their friends wedding. Claire was sorority sisters with the bride. McLaine worked with the groom in Denver. They each battled sketchy weather that made the hour and a half flight from Denver much longer. They both eventually made it to the wedding, and once the dance floor opened, the rest was history.
