Our room block has enough accommodations for the entire wedding, so we strongly encourage you to stay at the resort! The resort will allow you to immerse yourself in the island charm, while alleviating the hassle of taxis and driving (there's no Uber on the island). There are many different options at the resort that can accommodate a variety of group sizes and budgets; from simple historic hotel rooms to three bedroom houses. Please note that there are a limited number of each type of accommodation in our room block and all unbooked rooms will be released to the public 2 months before our wedding date, so we strongly encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible. Travel Note

By Car + Ferry

Ferries depart from Anacortes, WA, arriving at Friday Harbor on a daily basis (check the Summer ferry schedule for the most current sailing times). You have the option of walking onto the ferry, or driving a car on if you plan to take a car to the island. During the summer season, ferry reservations do fill up in advance, so we STRONGLY encourage making a reservation for the ferry ahead of time and leaving with plenty of time to accommodate for traffic. The first available block (30%) of ferry reservations for the entire summer season will be available at 7:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) April 24, 2018, and the second wave (the next 30%) will be available at 7:00 a.m. (PT) exactly 2 weeks before each specific sailing date. If none of the Roche Harbor Resort options will work for you, Airbnb usually has a few properties available around San Juan Island. Note that these can often require a significant drive to the resort, and transportation to the resort from other accommodations will not be provided.

Flight

Kenmore Air

Kenmore Air, the PNW's largest commercial seaplane carrier, flies direct from South Lake Union in Seattle to the Roche Harbor Marina. This will drop you off right at the resort and provide amazing views of Seattle and the Puget Sound along the way. No need for car rental or taxi upon arrival. For those flying in to SeaTac International Airport, Kenmore Air provides affordable transportation from Seatac to their South Lake Union port. (When on their website, select "Seatac International Airport" as your departure location.)
