Parking for both the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony is in the North lot, in the Meadows Parking garage and in the surrounding neighborhoods. There is handicap parking in the North lot.
The attendant will hand out passes to guests to put on their dash so that parking is complimentary to them. The lot is at the cross streets of St. Paul/Wood St. Guests must see attendant for parking pass to receive complimentary parking.
You can RSVP by responding directly on our wedding website by the date indicated on the invitations!
We invite our guests to dress in a way that reflects the elegance and tradition of the day. Gentlemen may wear a suit in any color with a tie. Ladies are kindly encouraged to wear floor-length gowns. Elevated fabrics in lengths below the knee or elegant jumpsuits are also welcome. We ask that casual or short styles be avoided to honor the formality of the occasion. Out of respect for the bride, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream — colors traditionally reserved for her.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 PM. Doors will open at 3:30 PM and parking will be limited. Please arrive at the sanctuary no later than 3:45 PM as doors will close.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (the only exceptions are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand!
While we do not have a traditional hotel block, we have arranged for discounted rates at our preferred hotels, which you can find in the travel section of our website. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed—once the hotel sells out, no additional rooms will be added. To receive the discounted rate, please book directly through the link provided on our website and be sure to manually select your stay dates, as the booking page may default to the current date. Our recommended hotel is The Statler.
Complimentary parking will be provided for guests at 1720 Wood St. (located near the corner of St. Paul & Wood St.). While we are covering the cost of parking, please note that spots may be limited. We kindly encourage ride sharing services like Uber or Lyft when possible for ease and convenience.
Yes - the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you!
If you do not RSVP by the date indicated on the invite, you will be marked as “not attending.” We would love to celebrate with you; however, we need to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.
Per the guidelines of Highland Park United Methodist Church, guests are not permitted to take pictures during the ceremony. This helps preserve the sacredness of the service. We have a professional photographer capturing these moments, and we look forward to sharing those photos with you afterward. It is also our wishes that no one has their phones out during the ceremony.
As per the guidelines of Highland Park United Methodist Church, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the church premises. Additionally, alcoholic beverages and drugs of any kind are not allowed anywhere on the property, including chartered or private vehicles, adjacent streets, and dressing rooms. We kindly ask all guests to adhere to these policies to ensure a respectful and safe environment for everyone.
