You can RSVP by responding directly on our wedding website by the date indicated on the invitations!
While we do not have a traditional hotel block, we have arranged for discounted rates at our preferred hotels, which you can find in the travel section of our website. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed—once the hotel sells out, no additional rooms will be added. To receive the discounted rate, please book directly through the link provided on our website and be sure to manually select your stay dates, as the booking page may default to the current date. Our recommended hotel is The Statler.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 PM. Doors will open at 3:30 PM and parking will be limited. Please arrive at the sanctuary no later than 3:45 PM as doors will close.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (the only exceptions are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand!
Our dress code is Formal Attire. We invite our guests to dress in attire that reflects the elegance of the day. Men may wear a suit in any color with a tie. Women are encouraged to wear tea length, ankle length, or floor length gowns, as well as sophisticated, floor length jumpsuits. Please avoid casual or short styles to maintain the formality of the occasion.
Please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory, or cream.
Yes - the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you!
Per the guidelines of Highland Park United Methodist Church, guests are not permitted to take pictures during the ceremony. This helps preserve the sacredness of the service. We have a professional photographer capturing these moments, and we look forward to sharing those photos with you afterward. It is also our wishes that no one has their phones out during the ceremony.
As per the guidelines of Highland Park United Methodist Church, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the church premises. Additionally, alcoholic beverages and drugs of any kind are not allowed anywhere on the property, including chartered or private vehicles, adjacent streets, and dressing rooms. We kindly ask all guests to adhere to these policies to ensure a respectful and safe environment for everyone.
If you do not RSVP by the date indicated on the invite, you will be marked as “not attending.” We would love to celebrate with you; however, we need to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.
